Notes

Melando Bazinet probably died giving birth to her child. She had 3 children: Marie Alma (July 10, 1896), Rose Alinda (Nov 17, 1898) and Marie Albertha (Nov 24, 1894) and apparently passed away in 1900 (see Census 1901). Marie Alma (known as Alma) was one of her children and was Dave Miller's grandmother. Alma and her sisters resided at an orphanage in Saint-Hyacinthe in 1901 after Melando passed away, and were subsequently reunited with their father after he remarried. Alma lived in Utica, New York for much of her life, and moved to California.
